Katie Price, professionally known as ‘Jordan,’ began a career as a model for Page 3 and other men’s magazines. In the late 90s, in hopes of transitioning into acting, Katie Price appeared in an episode of “Dream Team,” became a guest presenter of “The Big Breakfast” and tried her luck for a role on the hit TV series “Baywatch.” Katie Price had her TV breakthrough in 2004 when she appeared in the reality series “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!” That same year, she appeared on Top Gear’s “Star in a Reasonably Priced Car” and made a cameo in the TV shows “Footballers’ Wives.”
Katie Price has appeared on numerous documentary-reality TV series, including “Jordan: Living with a Dream,” “Jordan: The Truth about Me,” “Jordan: Model Mum, “Jordan: You Don’t Even Know Me,” “Jordan Gets Even (Five),” and “When Jordan Met Peter.” While Katie Price and Peter Andre were dating and married, they appeared on several ITV2 shows such as “Jordan & Peter: Laid Bare,” “Jordan & Peter: Marriage and Mayhem,” and the “Kate & Peter Series,” which included “The Next Chapter,” and “The Baby Diaries.”
In between her shows, Katie Price released an exercise fitness DVD entitled “The Jordan Workout,” had appeared in the ads for Kwik Save and released a clothing line called “The Katie Price Lingerie Collection.” Katie also became the spokesperson for Foxy Bingo and has release two perfumes – “Stunning” in August 2007 and “Besotted” in September 2008. Price has also released her own line of hair care electrical products and an equestrian wear called “KP Equestrian.”
From late 2007 to 2009, Katie Price and Peter Andre continued their ITV shows with “Katie & Peter: The Next Chapter Down Under,” and “Katie & Peter: Stateside.” When the couple split in 2009, Katie Price continued her journey on TV with the show “What Katie Did Next.” In November 2009, Katie Price made a comeback to the show that made her a star – “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!”
Katie Price is also a singer. She competed with the song “Not Just Anybody” to be the United Kingdom representative for the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest, but only won second price. In November 2006, Katie Price and her then-husband Peter Andre released a duets album called “A Whole New World,” which made its debut at #20 in the UK album chart.
Katie Price has released three autobiographies – “Being Jordan” in 2004, “Jordan: A Whole New World” in 2006, and “Pushed to the Limit” in 2008. Katie Price also writes for OK! Magazine. She has also written two children’s books series – “Katie Price’s Perfect Ponies” and “Mermaids & Pirates.” In 2009, she released her novel entitled “Sapphire.”
